The Impact of Variability in Biopharmaceutical ManufacturingEurope: 3pm London, 4pm Berlin/Paris, October 25, 2012In this webinar, we examine the impact of variability in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Using real data, we suggest that variability is the single biggest issue facing biopharmaceutical manufacturers today, affecting not only unit operations but the entire supply chain design and management. The presence of significant variability requires systems that can 'sense and respond' in real-time, so that issues can be resolved quickly and before they impact product quality. In two specific case studies, we show how real-time data and scheduling systems can be used to quickly provide feedback from the manufacturing floor. We'll show how this translates to increased efficiency in planning, through being able to adjust far more quickly to adverse events and with far greater sensitivity. | |||||
In this webinar we'll examine:- How to pull data out of existing systems of record (SAP*, batch historians) in real time - How this real time data can be used to increase the speed and sensitivity of our response to events - How this translates to increased visibility over trends and patterns in equipment reliability - A case study showing this approach applied to scheduling of an 80KL+ Mab biopharmaceutical facility Bio-G is a certified SAP Partner.
